Mrs. Miriam Gettinger

Recently retired after over 40 years as principal in both of Indiana’s Day Schools (South Bend and Indianapolis) and Bais Yaakov of Indiana High School, Mrs. Gettinger now serves as Senior Educational Consultant for the Consortium of Jewish Day Schools.

In addition to editing Navi and Tefillah curriculum for CoJDS, she is a strong advocate for integrating kodesh and chol curricula. She has presented in hundreds of schools across the United States and Canada on curriculum, instruction, and assessment — with particular focus on high-ability students, student voice and choice, the “digital pancake age,” and the Seven C’s for highly effective practice in schools.

Mrs. Gettinger coaches teachers and principals across diverse geographic and demographic contexts. A graduate of BJJ and Touro University, she currently teaches at Migdal Seminary in Lakewood, New Jersey.
